OVERSPRAY REMOVAL
Overspray is considered a negative occurrence in auto detailing when unwanted drifting paint gets on cars. There are companies that are solely dealing with overspray and offering additional protection to cars while painting. Many of them includes producers of special solvents, razor blades and rubbing compounds. The most common procedure to remove overspray is the use of a special clay bar. There are many manufacturers of such bars, including: Meguiars, 3M, Clay magic, Mothers. Estimated 200,000 cars get oversprayed per year in the United States alone.
CLAY BAR CLEANING
Clay bar cleaning is done to every car we wash and wax or completely detail. Claying the vehicle removes the pollutants off the surface of your vehicle allowing us to apply the chemicals to the paint surface and not atop of the contaminants, leaving your vehicle clean, shiny, and protected.
WATER SPOT REMOVAL
Water spots can be the result of of minerals suspended in city water or well water that are left behind after the water evaporates off the finish (auto, boat, or RV). Most common occurrence is found in your homes' sprinkler system. We have different solutions for different degrees of water spots. All solutions do result in some form of buffing and polishing with a compound that is safe for your vehicle .
HEAD LIGHT RESTORATION
Headlight restoration or plastic headlight restoration is the act of refinishing aged headlight lenses that have become discolored or dull due to oxidation primarily due to UV light and other environmental factors such as road debris impact (stones, sand, etc.) rain, and exposure to caustic chemicals. Over time the protective hardcoat breaks down with UV degradation and wear from abrasion, etc. If left untreated the headlights will eventually develop small surface cracks, a condition referred to as crazing. The effectiveness of the headlight in terms of light output measured by LUX is greatly diminished, by as much as 70%. This condition which results in hazy and discolored lenses is known for causing reduced night time visibility for travelers as the condition becomes worse. It is possible for cloudy and hazy headlights to be restored to a like new condition and represents typically a far more economical alternative than replacing the lens.
OXIDATION REMOVAL
Oxidation can also be a problem for car owners, since the outermost layers of paint are constantly exposed to air and water. If the car's outer finish is not protected by a wax coating or polyurethane, the oxygen molecules in the air will eventually start interacting with the paint. As the oxygen burns up the free radicals contained in the paint, the finish becomes duller and duller. Restoration efforts may include removing several layers of affected paint and reapplying a new layer of protectant. This is why professional car detailers recommend at least one layer of wax or other protectant be used every time the car is washed.
BUFFING/POLISHING
High speed buffing and polishing is done with a variable speed, rotary polisher. This type of rotary polisher generates more heat thus allowing us to remove heavy scratches, oxidation and certain types of water spots, that the conventional DA polisher cant get out. This is primarily done before the final wax application is done. We only use this machine in extreme cases, generally most cars can be done with professional chemicals and the DA polisher.
SCRATCH REMOVAL
Scratch removal can be easy and can also be difficult. Depending on the type of scratches that are on your vehicle, we are confident we can find a solution. As you might know, there are some that are so deep in the paint that they will require a solution other than buffing and polishing. We need to see your vehicle to give you an honest answer and test a spot to ensure you will be satisfied.
ENGINE CLEANING
We degrease, clean, and dress the engine. This is provided in the complete detail special as well as the exterior special. You may request it at an additional charge of $29 with any of our other services. This is an optional service, meaning, if you do not want it done we wont pressure "sell" you to do so.
PAINT CORRECTION
Paint correction is the reduction or removal of marks in the top layer of paint to produce a more refined finish. Good paint correction requires a high degree of skill and concentration, but done properly, it can really transform the look of a car by dealing with (but not limited to); hard water spots, swirl marks, scratches and fading. Paint correction is entirely safe and will not cause any unwanted issues with your paint.
FLEET WASHING
Fleet washing services are quoted on quantity, size, and condition of your companies vehicles. Keeping your company's image intact is important. We are confident we can help you maintain that image with our services. We provide washing, waxing, and detailing on site and will accommodate your hours of operation regarding these services.
PAINT SEALANTS
Paint sealant prices range from $395 and up depending on what sealant you select for your vehicle. There are different types of sealants, each sealant can require a different application process, therefor we will discuss this with you regarding the type of sealant as well as the price.
BOAT AND RV DETAILING
Our prices regarding boat and RV detailing are quoted based on the size and condition of your boat or RV. A "general" base quote for washing your RV is $3 per foot. A wash & wax on your RV ranges from $7-$10 a foot. Boat detailing ranges from $7-$10 per foot. We will discuss in further detail when you call us regarding these two services .
